Plain Clip Plug is a plugin for Spark (a very nice freeware hotkey application) which removes any formatting from text which is on the clipboard. It is basically identical to Plain Clip, a freeware stand-alone application I wrote for this purpose. As Plain Clip is intended to be used with hotkey applications such as Spark, incorporating its functionality into a Spark plugin was a logical step.
In contrast to the standalone application, the plugin version has an additional feature: it supports sending an emulated Command-V keystroke (in other words: “Paste”) and can thus be used to create a “Paste unstyled” shortcut that should work anywhere where you can use Command-V to insert text from the clipboard.

System requirements
As Spark itself needs Mac OS X 10.3, this is the minimum requirements for using this plugin—and of course you need Spark to run the plugin. Plain Clip Plug 2.0 only works in Spark 2. If you're a Spark 1 user, you should take a look at version 1.0 instead.
Plain Clip Plug is a Universal Binary, which means it runs on PPC Macs as well as on Intel Macs.
